Company Mass Casualty Decontamination System

The Company Mass Casualty Decontamination System (MCD) uses state-of-the-art DRASH® shelters and equipment to effectively decontaminate large numbers of patients quickly.

The MCD allows for a continuous flow of patients from any mass casualty incident and is configured to accommodate ambulatory, non-ambulatory or a combination of both. The internal plumbing and heating system provides five gallons per minute of decontamination solution and rinse water at each shower station, and contaminated runoff is contained in a secure berm before being pumped into a remote waste water storage bladder.

The DRASH shelters are designed to be set up quickly with minimal personnel, and are operable in extreme environmental conditions. The MCD is currently used by both Active Duty and USARC chemical response units.

The HDT DRASH® Impact-Resistant Power Distribution Unit (PDU) is built to meet U.S. MIL-STD-810G for high and low temperature operation, weather-resistant operation and drop resistance. Featuring a lightweight, one-piece molded design, the unit weighs only 27 lbs (12.2 kg). Molded-in handles allow for easy transport and stackability, while power distribution cables with Mil-Spec connectors are available in 25', 50' and 100' (7.6 m, 15.2 m and 30.4 m) lengths. Available in two configurations: 60A and 100A.

Universal Adapter Power Distribution Unit (PDU)

The HDT DRASH® Universal Adapter PDU allows heavy-duty, three-phase equipment lacking standard military connectors to be connected with DRASH power equipment. Constructed from rugged polypropylene, the unit weighs only 15 lbs (6.8 kg) and accepts a Mil-Std power input of 120/208 V, 5 Pin. A built-in handle allows for easy transport, while folding legs provide elevation from water, dirt, sand and other less than-ideal surfaces.

HDT DRASH® Plenums

Made from durable Ripstop Nylon, Plenums are used inside HDT DRASH S, XB, M and J Series Shelters to evenly distribute cooled or heated air.

Single Plenum

The Single Plenum is available in two sizes. The 12 inch diameter version is used for S, XB and M Series Shelters, while the 16 inch diameter version is used for the J Shelter.

System Plenum

The System Plenum is used to enhance the flow of air around corners between connected S, XB or M Series Shelters. It includes three single plenums connected with two flexible tubes and two booster fans to accelerate air movement.

Turf Cart

The HDT DRASH® Turf Cart is designed to easily transport both DRASH gensets and ECUs. The cart can easily move units weighting up to 1800 lbs (816.5 kg). It also features a 20" x 20" (50.8 x 50.8 cm) slide out storage tray capable of holding up to 120 lbs (54.4 kg) and has four tie down rings to safely secure unit before moving.
